Founded in 2004 by Rohit Tamhane, Arcadia Senior Care is a 100% Canadian owned and independent company, committed within our community, to helping those living with Alzheimer's disease, ABI, and related disorders,
Rohit graduated from York University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in philosophy.
He began his career as a programmer analyst. However, it was not his career but his personal experience that led him to appreciate the challenges faced by those living with Alzheimer's disease, ABI, and related disorders.
While serving as a volunteer with the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, he gained valuable knowledge and experience about the opportunities available to improve the quality of life for these individuals and their families.
Since then, he and his staff have been gratified to see the positive results that can be achieved from early intervention, utilization of existing resources, services provided by knowledgeable workers, and case management.
In his private life, Rohit remains deeply committed to his community and is currently Vice-Chair of The Senior Committee for The Rotary Club of Toronto.
